KANW Introduces On Point

KANW is pleased to announce the addition of NPR's On Point to its weekday lineup at 8 a.m.  The live call-in show is hosted by award-winning journalist Tom Ashbrook and features newsmakers, thinkers, journalists, scientists, and ordinary citizens contributing to the conversation.  On Point replaces the long-running Radio Reader program which was suddenly discontinued due to unexpected health issues of the show's host, Dick Estell.

Other shows affected by this change will air as follows: The Writer's Almanac weekdays at 7:45 a.m. and Tuesday through Thursday at 4:45 a.m., Dateline New Mexico weekdays at 6:45 a.m., Marketplace Tech weekdays at 5:45 a.m., The Update from ABQ Free Press on Mondays at 4:45 a.m. and The Law of Rock & Roll on Fridays at 4:45 a.m.
