ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — One person has died and a second one remains hospitalized after a shooting in southwest Albuquerque.
Police say the shooting happened Sunday morning on Camino Bello near Blake.
Officers were called to the area shortly before 5:45 a.m. and found two people with gunshot wounds.
They were taken to the hospital and one later was pronounced dead.
The Albuquerque Journal reports that Officer Simon Drobik says the other victim is in critical condition.
The suspected gunman remains at large.
