30 units damaged in fire at storage facility in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Firefighters are battling a blaze at an Albuquerque storage facility and they say 30 units have been damaged. When firefighters arrived at the location off Interstate 25 around 1:30 p.m. Friday, they found three storage units fully engulfed in flames. The flames spread to other units and prompted a second alarm as it grew to 30 units. Albuquerque Fire Department officials the cause of the blaze is under investigation. They say crews will remain at the storage facility overnight to make sure the fire is fully extinguished.
