4 Arrested In Albuquerque 18-Year-Old’s Shooting Death

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Four people, including two teenage brothers, have been arrested in connection with the drive-by shooting death of an 18-year-old Albuquerque woman. The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department said Saturday that Marissa Sepulveda, Patrick Zamora and the two teens are expected to face multiple charges including murder. Authorities say Aliyah Garcia was sitting in a car outside a friend's home May 26 when she was shot. Sheriff's spokeswoman Felicia Romero says a woman arrested Tuesday for child abuse indicated her two sons fatally shot Garcia. Detectives located them and Sepulveda on Friday. They say Sepulveda admitted that they all had planned to rob a man at that home but failed. Zamora then provided firearms to the teens, who allegedly opened fire. It was not immediately known if any of them had attorneys.
