4 Arrested In Murders Last Year In Albuquerque, Farmington

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Federal authorities say four suspects have been arrested in connection with murders that occurred last year in Albuquerque and Farmington.

U.S. Marshals Service officials say three people have been taken into custody in the kidnapping and murder of 29-year-old Tiffany Boyer.

Authorities say Boyer was last seen alive on Aug. 16. Her body was later discovered in Socorro.

Deputy marshals say 38-year-old Shawna Cannon, 56-year-old William P. Alexander and 30-year-old Joshua Taramasco all are being held on suspicion of open counts of murder, conspiracy, robbery, kidnapping and tampering with evidence.

It was unclear Thursday if any of them had lawyers.

In a separate operation, deputy marshals arrested 21-year-old Mitch Lopez in connection with last year's murder of Benjamin Charley in Farmington.

Lopez was taken into custody Tuesday in Farmington.
