El Paso Man Found Guilty Of Trying To Sell Spice

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) — An El Paso man has been found guilty in Dona Ana County of distributing the drug spice. County District Attorney Mark D'Antonio announced Saturday that a jury convicted 26-year-old William Langbehn. According to the county sheriff's department, a deputy stopped Langbehn in traffic in October 2015. The deputy determined Langbehn was driving with a suspended license, which led to the vehicle being towed. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up 174 packets of spice. The drugs were estimated to be worth $850. Prosecutors say Langbehn intended to distribute the spice. Langbehn is being held pending sentencing.
