Fire Department: Burned man found after apartment explosion

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say a man is being treated for burns following an explosion in an apartment in southeast Albuquerque. Fire Department spokeswoman Melissa Romero says a burned man in his 40s was found a couple of blocks away from the apartment about an hour after the explosion occurred shortly before midnight Wednesday. Romero says nobody was in the apartment when firefighter arrived and that Fire Department investigators are trying to determine the cause of the explosion. No additional information was released on the man or his burns.
