SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez has traveled to Wyoming to raise money for her re-election campaign.
Martinez campaign spokesman Chris Sanchez said the Republican governor attended a fundraiser Wednesday in the resort town of Jackson, and will return to New Mexico on Thursday.
The governor's campaign will pay for travel costs.
According to the latest finance reports, Martinez holds a large advantage in campaign cash over Democratic candidate Gary King.
Martinez had $4.3 million in her re-election account as of June 28, and King reported cash-on-hand of about $116,000.
