SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — Gov. Susana Martinez is traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada, to watch New Mexico men's college basket teams play at conference tournaments and help raise money for political causes.
The Republican governor left on Thursday to cheer on both the New Mexico State University Aggie team and the University of New Mexico Lobos.
Martinez's political committee is paying for her travel. Martinez is the chair of the Republican Governors Association, a fundraising arm of the GOP.
