New Mexico sex offender sentenced after probation violation

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say a sex offender is back behind bars after picking up a DWI charge while on probation.
The New Mexico attorney general's office says James Richard Coca was on probation for possession of child pornography in late May when he was arrested for a DWI.
Authorities say that a judge sentenced Coca on Tuesday to about nine months in lockup. He will be under the custody of the New Mexico Department of Corrections during that time.
He also has been ordered to serve a year on parole.
