ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Parts of eastern New Mexico and West Texas are seeing minor flooding thanks to a storm system moving east. Heavy rain struck Eddy County in New Mexico and Odessa, Texas, on Wednesday causing flooded streets and dangerous driving conditions. Hobbs also saw torrential rains. The National Weather Service said thunderstorms are moving into the Texas city of Alpine with more very heavy rain and lightning expected in the area.
