Police: Oklahoma woman accused in death of man in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico State Police say an Oklahoma woman has been arrested in the death of a man who was run over by a pickup truck.
They say Kelly R. Hardy is accused of voluntary manslaughter.
She was booked into jail in Woodward, Oklahoma before being extradited to New Mexico's McKinley County.
It was unclear Wednesday if Hardy has a lawyer yet.
State Police found 38-year-old Armondo Monroe severely injured on Interstate 40 in Gallup on June 23. He later died of his injuries at a hospital.
Hardy told officers she accidentally ran over Monroe after he allegedly tried to strangle her.
But the medical investigator says Hardy's account wasn't consistent with the injuries on Monroe's body.
Police went to Oklahoma and seized Hardy's pickup truck before processing it for evidence.
