Police probe an apparent shooting outside Albuquerque mall

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Police say they're still investigating an apparent shooting outside a mall in northeastern Albuquerque. They say a man walked into the Coronado Mall around 9:30 a.m. Saturday and appeared to have been shot in one of his upper shoulders. Police describe the injury as not life-threatening and say the victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. The man's name and age still had not been released by Sunday morning. Police believe an altercation took place outside the mall, but the man isn't cooperating with the investigation about what happened and who the shooter may be. They say two vehicles in the mall's parking were hit by stray bullets.
