Woman Allegedly Hit Man With Car To Get Parking Spot

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Bernalillo County authorities say a woman is accused of hitting a man with her car in a fight for a parking spot. County sheriff's Capt. Andi Taylor tells Albuquerque's KOB-TV (http://bit.ly/2daaS9H) 45-year-old Yvonne Aragon was booked on several felony charges. Taylor says the incident began Friday when the victim tried to save a parking spot for his wife outside Route 66 Casino. Aragon allegedly struck him with her vehicle. The victim threw a cup of coffee at Aragon's car. Aragon then allegedly pulled out a pistol. Officers arrived and determined that the victim had significant bruising on his leg that matched a skeleton license plate on the suspect's car. Aragon admitted to hitting him but denied pointing a weapon. It was not clear Sunday if Aragon had an attorney.
