After nearly 40 years of hosting her daily talk show, Diane Rehm retired at the end of 2016. Her last live program was on Friday, December 23, 2016. The Diane Rehm Show was replaced by 1A, also produced by WAMU and distributed by NPR. 1A airs from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on KANW-FM/HD1 and from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on KANW-HD2.
