Man Fatally Shot During Confrontation with Marshal ID'd

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico authorities have released the identity of an Albuquerque man who they say was fatally shot during a confrontation with a deputy U.S. marshal. New Mexico State Police say the man killed Saturday morning was 23-year-old Edgar Camacho-Alvarado and say he was shot after deputy marshals went to a trailer park to arrest a homicide suspect. Details of the shooting have not been released but authorities say Camacho-Alvarado was not the wanted homicide suspect, George Bond. Bond was arrested in the trailer park several hours after the shooting. He is charged in the July 2014 death of a Los Lunas man and was spotted Friday in Albuquerque but evaded capture.
