Police Identify UPS Driver Stabbed in Farmington

(Information from: The Daily Times, http://www.daily-times.com) FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) — Police in Farmington have identified a UPS driver who was stabbed while making deliveries. Authorities say 25-year-old Colton Kennedy was dropping off packages in a mobile home park Wednesday morning when a suspect repeatedly stabbed him. Kennedy was taken to San Juan Regional Medical Center. But his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. Hospital spokeswoman Laura Werbner told The Daily Times that Kennedy was released by the afternoon. UPS said in a statement that the company is working with law enforcement but Kennedy's recovery is their main concern. Police have not recovered a weapon. The suspect remains at large. He is described as Native American, 5-foot-10 and with a thin build and light facial hair on his chin. He was seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
