Suspect Who Mocked Santa Fe Police On Facebook Arrested

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — A sex crime suspect who allegedly taunted Santa Fe police on Facebook has been caught in Albuquerque. KRQE-TV in Albuquerque reported Friday that 20-year-old Carlito Quintana was arrested this week in connection with a series of bank robberies. Santa Fe police Capt. James Lamb says Quintana is wanted on two counts of criminal sexual penetration and one count of criminal sexual contact of a minor. Police posted a mugshot of Quintana on the agency's Facebook page on Sept. 28, asking the public for information about his whereabouts. On Oct. 8, someone under Quintana's name commented "You ain't catching no one." Lamb says police believe the response was from the suspect. Santa Fe police commented on the post Wednesday, saying "OH YES WE DID! GOTCHA!"
