Wintry weather arrives in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexico is getting a blast of wintry weather just in time for the busy holiday travel season. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that starts Monday at 5 p.m. and expires 12 hours later. Locations above 7,500 feet could see up to 4 inches of snow. Forecasters say it will start off as rain in the afternoon and then change to snow. Winds from 10 mph to 15 mph are also in the forecast, and drivers are urged to use caution on mountain passes and other roads.
